About Judy
With over forty years of experience as a facilitator, mentor and writer, Judy Bekker has dedicated her life to guiding others through life’s most significant transitions. Her expertise spans leadership and relationship dynamics, mentoring and coaching, facilitation skills, wilderness solo fasting, women’s circles, and rites of passage for both adults and youth — with a deep focus on gender, race, and identity.

A lifelong calling
Judy began her career in the 1970s as a journalist in Apartheid South Africa.
Her exposure to the inequities and struggles in the country, fostered a lifelong commitment to unearthing truth and authenticity in the human experience.
In 1985, together with Valerie Morris, she co-founded Renaissance Business Associates, a people development consultancy.
